The Muni is a listed former Wesleyan Church which was renovated in the 1960’s. It comprises a large auditorium, foyer area, changing rooms, a multi-purpose gallery, offices, meeting rooms and coffee shop/restaurant. Space is available to hire for meetings, conferences and live events.

Our box office is open from 9.30am until 5pm Monday to Thursday and 9.30am to 4pm on Fridays. We are open longer hours when we have evening classes and performances. See below for further details or contact the Box Office Manager at boxoffice@muniartscentre.com or by telephone on 01443 485934.

Live Events

If you are interested in hiring The Muni for a live performance or public event please see our Live Events Venue Hire Costs Form for further details of additional costs involved. Availability for Auditorium hire in the evenings can be limited so advance booking is strongly recommended.

In order to ensure that The Muni’s audience expectations are met, any private hirers wishing to hold public performances or events are required to provide details of the format of the event and information about acts or companies performing before a booking can be made.
